Since starting his own business, Yang Fan has been selected for the 2017 Jiangning District Innovative Entrepreneur Cultivation Plan, the top ten internet pioneers in Jiangsu Province in 2017, and the target for cultivating young and middle-aged talents in Nanjing; Received honorary titles such as the 2018 Top Ten Jiangsu Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurs in Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship, the 2018 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Entrepreneur, the 2018 "May Fourth Youth Medal" in Jiangsu Province, the 2019 Jiangsu Provincial Talents in Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship, and the "New Era Pioneer" Outstanding Communist Party Member in Nanjing. In recent years, with the development of AI technology, the application scenarios of facial recognition technology have become increasingly diverse. While greatly facilitating people's work and life, more and more innovative entrepreneurs are charging towards the new peak of technology. As the chairman of Xiaoshi Technology, Yang Fan is the "trendsetter" on this track.
Yang Fan, born in 1985, has been working at Nanjing Jiangning Technology Venture Capital Group since graduating from university. In 2015, he and his two friends keenly discovered that the field of artificial intelligence was a promising place for vigorous development, and the flames of entrepreneurship ignited in their hearts from then on. In April of the same year, with the dream of "revitalizing the country through technology", Yang Fan and two partners gave up their stable jobs and founded Minivision Technology, embarking on a difficult but highly socially valuable entrepreneurial journey.
As a company that focuses on computer vision and uses computer recognition technologies such as image recognition and behavior recognition for scene landing, how can we explore the commercial space for AI landing and find the technical foothold? Faced with the common challenges faced by AI enterprises, Yang Fan stated that Xiaoshi Technology focuses its attention on the "scene" and provides deep links between technology and scene, positioning itself as a "smart visual full scene ecological service provider".
Facts have proven that Xiaoshi Technology's choice is correct. From the initial 4 or 5 people to over 400 people today, from the beginning of a single scene, to the current deep cultivation of sub scenes such as smart cities, smart communities, smart campuses, smart parks, and smart transportation. Under the leadership of Yang Fan and two partners, Minivision Technology is like a dark horse, moving from the fertile land of Jiangning to the position of a leading artificial intelligence company in Nanjing and even Jiangsu Province.
Empowered by "AI", technology showcases its ability to fight the epidemic
Due to the impact of the epidemic, wearing masks and maintaining a one meter distance have become a new social standard between people. To comprehensively and accurately grasp the health information of every resident, the application of facial recognition technology is particularly important.
During the 2020 Spring Festival, on the occasion of family reunion and welcoming the new year, Minivision Technology actively responded to the call, and more than 100 partners from all over the world, including Yang Fan, joined the forefront of technology and epidemic prevention. In just 9 days, Yang Fan led the team to practice and develop the "non-contact temperature measurement+facial recognition with masks" technology, and launched an AI epidemic prevention system within a week.
"At that time, it was freezing winter. Without a construction team, the partners took a screwdriver from home to the front line of the community. Because many communities covered by the construction had suspected cases of COVID-19, they could not work during the day. Many little partners worked without sleep from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. every day. They lay on the ground of the security booth to make do during the day. They also dared not go home, afraid of bringing risks to their parents and children. Eating and bathing were also The troubles in their work. People often eat cold meals, take cold baths, lie in the car and sleep with their clothes on. Whenever I see this scene, I feel both proud and heartbroken Yang Fan said.
Hard work pays off to those who care. Under the leadership of Yang Fan, Xiaoshi Technology has become one of the first companies in China to implement and promote facial recognition technology with masks. Its AI epidemic prevention system, launched online, achieves recognition accuracy of 99.9% when personnel wear masks, and a single facial recognition time is only 0.3 seconds. At present, Minivision Technology's epidemic prevention products cover over 1000 residential areas across the country, covering nearly 100 hospitals, schools, stations and other various scenarios, with an annual traffic volume of over 3 billion people.
Technology for the good and actively fulfilling social responsibilities
A seed breaks through the soil and takes root in the earth. It is baptized by wind and rain, fed by natural nutrients, and illuminated by sunlight that it can eventually grow into a towering tree. Yang Fan stated that as the place where his dream began, Jiangning is not only a fertile land for the growth and success of young people, but also a wonderful stage for young people to start businesses and prosper. On the path of entrepreneurship, not only does Xiaoshi Technology provide a lot of support in innovation and entrepreneurship policies, but it also builds a broad platform for entrepreneurial youth to practice and innovate.

Yang Fan actively engages in youth cultivation and positive energy dissemination, and has participated in various levels of entrepreneurship public welfare promotion activities in the city multiple times, sharing entrepreneurial experiences. In 2017, a donation of 400000 yuan was made to assist in the construction of Yangfan Hope Primary School in Dunji Town, Sixian County, Anhui Province. We have established a Xiaoshi Technology scholarship at Yanchihe Nine Year School in Yangxie Town and Heishan Town Nine Year School in Shangzhou District, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, to fulfill our sense of social responsibility as a young entrepreneur through our practical actions.
