In April 2021, the Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Institute of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) launched Trusted Face Application Guardian Plan, aiming to enhance industry and social consensus, promote healthy development of the industry, and "justify" facial recognition technology and applications through standard formulation, testing and evaluation, and industry self-discipline.
Recently, the list of the plan was officially announced. Minivision successfully passed the review and became one of the first members along with 64 excellent institutions and benchmark enterprises in the government, finance, internet, legal, and artificial intelligence industries.
In order to further enhance the authority of the plan and cultivate and strengthen the face protection ecosystem, the Plan expert committee has also been officially established. Wang Zhonglin, Vice President of Minivision, was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Committee, and Hu Jianguo, President of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, was elected as a member of the Committee.
In the digital economy era, the security and compliance issues of facial recognition have become the focus of attention from all sectors of society, and the governance of facial recognition is urgent. As an artificial intelligence company with computer vision as its core competency, Xiaoshi strictly adheres to relevant national laws and regulations, introduces a professional technical team, and strictly grasps the various stages of data flow in facial recognition protection, information security management, and other aspects. It carefully studies data models, and actively participates in the preparation and pilot work of national and industry standards. Through the "internal and external linkage integration and progress" approach, it continuously improves the construction of trustworthy artificial intelligence.
In order to promote the promotion and implementation of trustworthy artificial intelligence technology, Minivision actively participates in the development of the "General Credibility Requirements for Face Recognition Systems" standard and provides technical support.
Since 2015, Minivision has led the research and industrial implementation of algorithms such as multi scene facial recognition and live recognition (silent, binocular, structured light). Xiaoshi Silent Living Technology has been certified by the Third Institute of Public Security. This technology can accurately and efficiently identify fraudulent means of "passing off fake as real", and perform live recognition without the need for user micro expressions. It eliminates complex attacks such as paper photos, screens, masks, 3D headsets, and effectively improves the security of facial recognition systems.
Minivision's self-developed infrared live body detection algorithm, combined with the Di-VITEC binocular camera [DV-DH4053S305AD-GK], passed the extremely difficult BCTC live body test in one go and obtained "enhanced level" technical certification, meeting the "enhanced level" security standard certified by the national financial authority.
In addition, Minivision has also passed the ISO27001 information security management system certification. This standard is currently the most authoritative, rigorous, and widely accepted system certification standard in the field of information security internationally. This also marks that Minivision has reached a high level of information security management and information technology service management globally, and can provide more users with secure and effective solutions.
With rich practical experience and advanced technological solutions in facial recognition and data security, Minivision has provided a full closed-loop solution with identity recognition and verification functions to multiple fields such as communities, parks, education, healthcare, government affairs, transportation, etc.
In the future, Minivision will work together with various parties in the industry to continuously enhance industry and social consensus, make facial recognition more regulated, and make the development of the industry healthier
