Focusing on the development of artificial intelligence technology and industry, it focuses on current hot topics of artificial intelligence and shares the latest research and practical achievements.
Chi Yu, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, introduced at the meeting that after years of innovative development, Jiangsu has initially built a new generation of artificial intelligence industry system with application traction, cross-border integration, and open sharing. There are over 1000 core enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence in the province, with Nanjing and Suzhou ranking 4th and 6th respectively on the latest list of Chinese artificial intelligence cities.

Minivision CTO Hu Jianguo conducted technology sharing and exchange at the meeting under the theme of "Insight into the Horizon: Dual Core Exploration of Technology and Scenarios". Mr. Hu analyzed the trend of demand changes in the computer vision industry and elaborated on the working mechanism of Minivision's organic integration of scenario based, industry data mechanism, and AI algorithm.
He mentioned in his sharing that the changes in industrial demand have brought higher challenges to the research and development of algorithm technology. As the three driving factors of AI, data, algorithms, and computing power all need to better accept limit constraints in the business context, achieve high-quality scene algorithm output at a more reasonable cost, and accelerate the implementation of AI in various scenarios, achieving sustainable AI value creation.

Starting from small sample learning algorithms such as robust learning, ensemble learning, and adversarial learning, the Minivision technical team has reduced the requirements of mainstream deep learning algorithms for massive data, greatly shortened the research and development cycle, and achieved a significant reduction in data and algorithm labor costs. At the same time, through deep cooperation with AI chip ecosystem partners, lightweight algorithm models can be deployed on both sides with minimal accuracy loss, reducing the processing pressure on central computing power and significantly compressing computing costs. Minivision's industry-leading algorithms for mask recognition, high-altitude throwing, and portrait cartooning are all developed based on similar strategies.
During the meeting, President Hu also received interviews from multiple provincial and municipal media. He provided a detailed explanation of the outstanding performance of facial recognition technology with masks and epidemic prevention and control solutions in helping global epidemic prevention.
