In the annual recognition process, Minivision Technology successfully won the "Standard Contribution Award - Application Practice Award" from China National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee in 2021 for the "Intelligent Transformation Project of a certain community in a certain district of Chongqing City" applied for. This evaluation is a full recognition of Minivision Technology's use of artificial intelligence technology to promote the construction of smart communities and technology to support new infrastructure.

Minivision Technology's Intelligent Renovation Project for a Community in a District of Chongqing

The intelligent transformation of old residential areas is an important part of the construction of smart communities and a necessary path for the development of smart cities. Since 2020, government departments at all levels in Chongqing have been vigorously promoting the renovation of old buildings and building smart communities.
Traditional residential buildings are old and commonly have fire hazards. High altitude throwing incidents occur frequently, access control is often open, and the safety of community residents is difficult to ensure. In addition, the lack of policy promotion equipment often leads to poor communication of community information, slow emergency response speed, and increased probability of accidents.

Minivision Technology adopts the "intelligent hardware+intelligent application" model, with front-end intelligent hardware collecting perception data of all elements of "people, cars, houses, things, and things" in the community. Eleven intelligent subsystems cover the entire community, providing intelligent applications such as fire monitoring, high-altitude throwing monitoring, septic tank safety monitoring, residents' one click alarm for help, facial capture monitoring at entrances and exits, electronic patrols, video monitoring and intelligent analysis, intelligent parking, garbage classification, air quality monitoring, etc., comprehensively upgrading security management level and community convenience services.

Community monitoring and tracking of people, vehicles, and objects

By accessing the AIOT digital intelligence service management platform, the community information flow can be fully connected. Managers can centrally view real-time monitoring information, promptly handle early warning events, and effectively improve emergency response capabilities.
After the implementation of the project, the incidence of issues such as high-altitude throwing, fire occupation, and personnel control in the community has significantly decreased. Issues such as multiple security blind spots, lack of civil air defense management, and lagging behind in intelligent facility construction have been effectively solved. The quality of the living environment has significantly improved, and residents' lives have a sense of happiness, gain, and security.
At present, Minivision Technology has carried out intelligent upgrades and renovations for multiple old residential areas in the area, deploying more than 100 hardware devices such as facial recognition PADs and intelligent cameras. The platform provides nearly 100 intelligent algorithm analyses for nearly a thousand IoT devices, achieving an average daily face recognition frequency of over 100000, and serving a total population of nearly 400000 people.
As a successful experience in the intelligent transformation of old residential areas, this project will continue to promote the construction of local smart communities and the development of smart cities, empowering the modernization of grassroots governance systems and governance capabilities.
