On July 11, 2023, Professor Wang Zhixiao and Professor Wu Baolei from the Computer Science Department of China University of Mining and Technology led over 200 mining college students to visit Minivision Technology and conduct enterprise research.
The teachers and students visited the environment of Minivision Technology Company, enterprise exhibition halls, and artificial intelligence research institutes up close, experiencing Xiaoshi related products and algorithm technologies firsthand, and conducting in-depth exchanges. Leaders such as Zhou Shouye, Vice President of Minivision Technology, Duan Weizhi, and Wang Zhonglin warmly welcomed the teachers and students of Mining University.
At the Minivision Technology Exhibition Hall, teachers and students learned about the development process and business map of Minivision Technology. Wang Zhonglin introduced the value of deep learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision and other technologies in mining production, showcasing Minivision's self-developed visual algorithms and three violation management platforms for mining segmentation scenarios such as mine and underground.
Through the explanation, students at Mining University have gained a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of technology production research and development, as well as practical applications. From the continuous iteration of algorithms to the application of technologies such as large models in the construction of mines, when technology empowers the penetration of future intelligent mines, it not only brings efficient, safe, and intelligent mining production, but also provides strong support for industrial economic development and social progress.
Wang Zhonglin introduced Minivision Technology's future corporate strategy, brand goals, and organizational layout to the teachers. Professors Wang Zhixiao, Wu Baolei, and others recognize Xiaoshi Technology's approach to delving into production scenarios and solving practical problems in production.
